We are not a financial recovery service and cannot directly recover funds. However, we can guide you: (1) Call 1930 immediately — faster reporting means higher recovery chances. (2) Contact your bank's fraud helpline to freeze/reverse the transfer. (3) File a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in. Act within 24 hours for the best chance of recovery.
Can you remove my number from your scam database? ▼
Yes. If your legitimate number has been incorrectly flagged, email us at help@digitalarresthelp.in with subject "GRIEVANCE – Incorrect Flagging" along with proof of ownership (e.g., a government-issued ID showing the number). We will review and remove it within 7 working days.
Are you affiliated with the police or government? ▼
No. We are a completely independent, non-government, public-interest platform. We are not affiliated with the police, CBI, ED, TRAI, or any government ministry. We direct victims to official resources but we ourselves have no law enforcement authority. Our domain is .in — not .gov.in.
Someone called claiming to be from "Digital Arrest Help India" and asked for money — is this you? ▼
No — this is a scam. We never make outbound calls, never charge fees, and never ask for OTPs, payments, or remote device access. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately, do not pay anything, and report it to 1930. You can also report it to us at help@digitalarresthelp.in.
How do I formally request my data under the DPDP Act 2023? ▼
Email help@digitalarresthelp.in with subject "GRIEVANCE – Data Request (DPDP Act 2023)". Include your full name, the type of data request (access/correction/erasure), and details of the submission(s) you are referring to. We will respond within 30 days as required by law.
Can I use your scam data for research or journalism? ▼
Yes, for verified journalists and researchers. Email us with subject "PRESS – Data Request" including your name, organisation, publication/institution, and the specific data you need.
